My name is Jim Hoy. I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. I am a seasoned computer science and information technology professional and I have spent the majority of my professional career is a content management and web applications developer. My experiences (both good and bad) have taught me how software should be built, and why it is important to share my knowledge with others.

I have been developing content management systems both as a professional and freelance developer since 2001. I have learned to implement quality software through information architecture, planning, and implementation on a variety of platforms, and using a variety of technologies.
